I made this banana bread today and not only did it make my house smell heavenly, but it tasted even better than at smelled (yes it's possible!). We will definitely be making this again very soon.

I made this recipe today and I'm so glad that I did! It's Banana Bars (the recipe also included a Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting, but I didn't have all that). I had these suckers plain and they were the bomb and it made my house smell sooooo yummy---BONUS! lol You guys HAVE to try this recipe, it's awesome :)

"Penne" for your thoughts?
So I made this recipe 2 days ago. It's Garlic Chicken Pasta with Spinach. It was good...however, I realized that I'm not a "fresh" type of pasta sauce kinda girl, I like it creamy all da way! LOL Anyway, next up, roast beef, garlic mashed potatoes and lion house rolls.

Pineapple Ham Verdict
Hi world!
So the Pineapple Ham with Cheesy Potatoes (and rice, hello we're poly) definitely hit the spot. I loooove Ham and I must say this ham was cooked to perfection (toot toot!) LOL To say the Cheesy Potatoes were Cheesy is an understatement if I ever heard one. But the more the merrier, right? RIGHT!
Today we're taking a break from home cooked meals. Swapping Friday's plan for Today's plan, only because we had some things come up that are preventing me from making a home cooked meal. But never fear, things should be back to normal by tomorrrow.

It was a hit! (Thanks Snickerdoodle)
So the Chicken Broccoli Cheesy thing was dabomb.com! Even Mani loved it (he had two servings, thank you very much!). It was cheesy, comforting, warm and gooey and the bread crumbs to top it off...perfection :) And Miss Amy you are ALWAYS welcome at our dinner table!

Something new but long overdue
If you know me, you know that I don't cook. I bake every so often, but actually cooking is just not my thang. However, it is a new year (the middle of a new year lol) and I was DETERMINED to cook a meal for the next 5 days. So here's my menu:
Sunday: Chicken and Broccoli Casserole. I got the recipe from a family friend, Amy. Her blog is amazing and this girl is so creative/talented and she's cool peoples---lol. Still contemplating whether or not to eat rice with this??
Monday: Roast Beef with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Corn
Tuesday: Crispy Chicken Wraps. Recipe from this blog. This is one of my fav foodie blogs and I've been wanting to try this recipe for a while now.
Wednesday: Pineapple Ham with Cheesy Potatoes. Ok so I changed the name from "funeral" to cheesy becase cheesy sounds more appetizing to me :) The Cheesey Potatoes recipe I also got from Amy's blog.
Thursday: Garlic Chicken Spinach Pasta w/lion house rolls. REALLY looking forward to this one! This is also a recipe from this blog. Both recipes are from that blog.
Friday: BREAK from cooking---lol
WISH ME LUCK!! I'm going to need it ;)

P.S. My budget for this 5 day meal deal was $100. Meat and all! I pretty much had to buy everything and I $1.07 OVER budget (but I bought cookies-lol). So I would have been UNDER budget!
