Sister time, Saving time, Shoot time

Berta and Jon came down from Logan for another weekend of, wait for it....F-U-N!! I swear, we look forward to their visits all day every day-hehe. As soon as they leave, we wish they'd come back! I know I always talk about how much I love my siblings, especially my sisters. I just really REALLY do! Anyway, so speaking of sisters, Berta and I took Kailei and Mariana on another shoot :-) It was a really short shoot and Berta got the most pics because my stupid memory card is soooo small!! And I forgot to erase the pics from our previous shoot...oh well! I got a few shots and here's a teaser, as I will post more later:

Moving on. Last night, soon after Berta and Jon arrived, Berta and I went and did some grocery shopping to use some of my coupons. Here's a pic of da goods:

 

This is our purchase from Macey's and Smith's, and here's what we bought:

4-4 pack Yoplait Yoplus yogurt (Which can I just tell you that the blueberry is da bomb!)

12-Ortega Taco Seasonings (We use Taco Seasoning on so much, so this was a steal!)

1 Bag of Hostess Donettes (Powdered, of course!)

1 Gallon of Milk

Happy Birthday B!!

Ok, can I just be the worst sister ever? Last night as a million thoughts were running through my mind, I realized, I had not done a "Blogger" shout out to my homie. On December 3rd, Berta turned....nah, I won't post her age :)  But it was her birthday and things were still crazy at the time so I didn't even call her!!! I am such a J E R K!

Berta has many nick names (B, Al-b, B-ya, Alboogy, Bert,Bert Wert, Junior) and the list goes on! Berta is awesome people, she is the one person that I can be 100 billion percent myself. I remember when Berta first got married, I HATED calling her! Why? Because it always seemed like she couldn't talk. That took a lot of getting used to for me...Berta didn't have time for me?? WHAT??? LOL Because of this {and my psychoness} it caused me to not like her hubby Jon (sorry JB!). I would call my dad and cry to him that Berta didn't love me any more because she didn't ever want to talk to me. And of course being the best dad that he is, he would do some investigating. Anyway, I got over my brattyness and realized that B had her own life and I just had to deal. Almost 4 years later, our relationship couldn't be any better AND I LOVE JON!!!! He's by BBILF {go figga!}! But then again, it was between him and the one we don't speak of {lol}.

Anyways B, I love you so much and thank you for being (one of) my {BSF}'s and for always being there for me no matter what kind of rediculous drama I'm going through (ie, wanting to divorce Mani every other week--heehee---luh u babe!). Thank you for always putting up with my bratty bi-polar butt! Thank you for being a great Aunty to my kids (and you too Jon!) and for spoiling our family as a whole. I wish we lived closer together :(

BUSTED!

Ok, if you guys read my post from yesterday, then I'm busted....totally, fully, 100% caught red handed. Reason being is, my friend Kiki didn't post that "post" I was talking about just yesterady, she posted it a few days ago. But I wrote that post the same day she posted hers, I just cheated and did my blogging for the entire week that one day =) Yes, my sister Alberta says I'm a loser for doing that but wait...what's this??

Ahhh yes, that's it...right there. Do NOT make me zoom in! Who's the loser now suckah?

Ok, I totally got side tracked. Anyway, I myself do not hate on people who are smart and do ALL their blogging in their spare time. Now, if it happens to be on a Sunday and you have nothing else to do because your hub is whining to watch the game, that's totally fine by me. It's actually encouraged, if you ask me.

You guys DO know about the "post options" right? If not, it's a life saver. For someone like me who doesn't know what the day will hold. So excuse me Alberta, for being so stinkin' smart to blog for the WHOLE week on ONE day. I'm sorry I'm not as fortunate as you to blog once a day about that day...hehehehehe

Sisters are a girls best friend =)

Last weekend I got to spend some time with Bert and Lini (and Lia and Baby Lei). Bert drove down from Logan and Lini's family drove up from Las Vegas. We had a lot of fun just talking, eating and taking pictures of our 3LW. It's so nice to have your sisters as your BFF's. Don't get me wrong, we still get in to our little "quarrels" every now and then, but nothing so huge we couldn't forgive and forget.

We were missing Teri and Tia, who are in Samoa. Wish they were here, that would have made everything P E R F E C T. Anyway, Mani was such a great host (Shout out to mah hunny! LOL). He even made us cinnamon rolls on Saturday morning. And they were the bizzomb!

Hungry baby, baby hungry...

Our trip to Vegas was so amazing. I'm so glad that Bert and I were able to go. We left early Friday morning and got to Vegas at around 1 PM. First of all, I am amazed that gas in Vegas is about .20 cheaper than Utah gas. But I'm a LOT annoyed! LOL

We went to pick Lini and Lia up and headed straight for the hospital. Baby Lei is sooooooooo tiny. But boy is she gorgeous! She does look like her sister, which I didn't notice at first. She most definitely looks like her mommy (thank goodness). I couldn't get over how small she was. Unfortunately, we weren't able to go in to the NICU. Baby is still in the NICU, but hopefully she'll be able to go home tomorrow.

So after the hospital, we grabbed some dinner and met up with Mariaha and her kids and then we went shopping. Ugh, that seemed like forever and I was soooooooooo tired! We were planning on cooking meals for Lini and Lia, that they could freeze and prepare when they're ready.

Saturday consisted of cooking and cleaning. I can't believe how much food we made! It was cool, they will have food at least for the next 4 weeks! I am definitely considering the whole "cook for the month" and "freeze" method :)

Lia is getting so big. She is such a good girl and only cried like once, which is AMAZING!! hehe Lia cracks me up, I miss her so much. Her favorite things to say..."My tummy hungry" and "My mommy ugly". HEHEHEHEHE Ok, those weren't the only things she'd say, but those were the cutest/funniest.

After seeing baby Lei, I decided that I'm not done having kids. Mani says I'm just "baby hungry" from seeing her. That could very well be it, but I'm glad I still have the option to have a baby if I want to. But Mani and I both want to wait until we're in a better financial situation (dang it!).

B-Ya, Al-B, Alboogie, B, Bert, Junior

Introducing...Alberta Thomasine Peters. She's number 5 and she's also going to kill me for posting this, not so cute, pic of her molesting an orange. Oh well! It's my blog and I'll do whatever I want to :-) We sometimes call her Junior, because she's named after my father, Albert Thomas Peters. They thought she was going to be a boy, but she came out and they decided to still name her after my dad, they just girlied up his name.

Berta is EVERYONE'S favorite, whether we like it or not. Berta's a pleaser, she can't stand the thought of someone disliking her. It's actually really funny. I tease her about it all the time. *DISCLAIMER* I love all of my sister's the same, thank you very much (except my BSF, You know who you are!). Berta is the giggler of the family, so much that my grandma calls her "soso". I can't really explain it in English, I'll ask my dad and have him explain it for me. Lemme just tell you that it's not a good thing to be a "soso". Not in our Samoan culture at least, but we do a lot of things that aren't "good" in our Samoan culture. But that's another post on another blog =O)

Back to B, speaking of being the giggler, I remember one time we went to my Aunty Lasi's Seminary class one night and she called on B to read a scripture. First of all, B was in Chapter 1 in Elementary, so her reading skills ain't all that to begin with (love you B!). Anyway, so Berta starts reading and of course, fobs out big time (can't remember what it was) so she started giggling but felt the death glare coming from Aunty Lasi, so she decided to try to act like she was 'crying' because she felt the spirit. LMBO! I knew better than that, and so did Aunty Lasi, unfortunately. Because of Alboogy, Aunty Lasi didn't ask us girls to read at all the rest of the night, nor did she acknowledge us. So much for showing off my reading skills.

Why do I love B? Because I can talk to her about ANYTHING. She doesn't judge me, she sucks at Guitar Hero III, she humors me and my every so changing interests, she's fluffy, she has pretty hair (but she doesn't believe me), she gives me her clothes when she doesn't want them anymore, she's always so happy. I just love my B-Ya B-Ya.
