"You know I love you...right?"
Those were the words my Bubba (Noa) said, as I was being attacked by Zombies while he crouched in the corner of a dark room...too afraid to move! No this wasn't a dream, it's a game that Poli let us borrow and Bubba and I are absolutely hooked! I'm too ashamed to tell you just how hooked I am, you might question my parenting, more importantly, mothering skills :)
Anyway, in this game you play as the "Survivors" and you kill all the evil zombies while going through different stages/levels. It's amazing! I swear this game can get my heart rate up in NO time...screw the tread mill, I say! I'm getting side tracked...so Noa will only play this game if me or Mani plays with him (and Noa and I both agree that Mani sucks, so we don't like playing with him! Honesty is key in this family!). So at one point in the game, I get BOMBARDED by gross, deseased, infected zombies and Bubba runs away and hides in a shack close by and turns his flash light off so that he won't attract any zombies (more specifically, the zombies that are killing his mother-lol). So I'm hollaring at him saying, "Get over here and shoot them!". But he is too scared, I know he feels bad and he turns to me and says, "You know I love you...right?", melt my heart!!!!!! My baby is getting SOOOOOOOOOOO mature (for a 5 almost SIX year old-hehe). I seriously had to fight back the tears that were forming in the corners of my eyes, I didn't want my Bubba to see me getting all mushy and gushy eyed (ok let's be honest, I didn't want any distraction for fear that the zombies would corner me again-lol).
I love my Noa and I hope he NEVER gets too old to play zombie games with me :-)
